“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord” (v7)

The Lord not only wants you to receive your healing, He wants it to continue. Here are seven specific ways you can keep your healing.

  1. Trust in God. Cursed is the man who trusts in man. And makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the LORD” (Jer 17:5) Read v7. Those words are followed by the promise of healing “for he shall be like a tree planted by the waters which spreads out its roots by the river… but her leaf will be green. And will not be anxious in the year of drought… (V8) God says that if you will trust Him, you will stay healed.
  2. Keep His Word. The advice found in Prov is worth committing to memory. “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes… For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh” (Prov. 4:20-22)
  3. Confess your faults one to another. Healing requires more than an anointing with oil. The words of James make it clear. “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sin, he will be forgiven.. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (Jas 5:14-16) (Benny Hinn)

PRAYER LINE: O Father, teach me the act of utter abandonment to Your will. This I ask for Your own dear name’s sake. Amen.
