It is not always easy to change. Often it means doing new things and letting go of beliefs you may have held for most of your life. If you really want to live the life you deserve, it’s essential to let go of those beliefs that are not supporting you. We’ve all said at one time or another, “That just the way I am Removing the illusion. Any belief that about yourself is the result of a combination of several things. It is some thing that you have told yourself over and over again or others have told you over and over again until you believe it to be true. The driving force behind our beliefs, and perhaps the strongest determinate, are the references that we have created to support a given belief. For example, if a person has gone on a diet and not lost more than a few pounds, very often they will create a belief of “not being able to lose weight.” Their failed attempt becomes the reference that supports their belief. They say things like “See I tried but I just can’t do it.” The authors of Chicken Soup for the Soul presented their manuscript to more than 140 publishers before finding one that agreed to publish it. Chicken Soup for the Soul has gone on to break all records for non-fiction books, has evolved into numerous spin-off books and more than seventy other productions have been licensed. All of this was possible because of the strongly held belief that Jack and Mark had about their ability to succeed. (Jim Donovan)
PRAYER LINE: As you pray, ask the Father to grant you the “Staying power” to succeed even when you stumble along the way. You will succeed in Jesus’ name.
Those who succeed are those who have the courage to leave their comfort zone (Gima)
