FINANCIAL BREAKTHROUGH                                     Deuteronomy 28:11-12

“If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.” (Job 36:11)

In Deuteronomy 15:11, the Holy Spirit revealed that there would always be poor people in the land. The Lord also confirmed this in Matthew 26:11. In Deuteronomy 28:1-12) we also understand that the will of God is for His children to live in abundance and even lend to nations. So, while the poor will always be in the land, the wealthy will also be there always. The choice of remaining poor or becoming wealthy is therefore yours to make. Remember Proverbs 22:2 says that the borrower is servant to the lender and the rich will always rule over the poor. The choice is yours. It is God’s will for you to prosper, so don’t insult God by choosing to be poor. God is not glorified by you being a tenant till you die. Now that you know God wants you to prosper, you may be wondering what you have to do to be prosperous. Be a friend of God. Draw near to the person who will help you to succeed through wisdom. Secondly, you must fear God. Psalm 25:14 reveals that God’s secrets are with those who fear Him.

You must meditate on the word of God day and night, so that you can be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. God will give you the ideas and tell you what to do, but nothing will happen or change if you don’t actually do what He says. If you don’t want to work hard, then don’t ask God for a financial breakthrough. My Father is miracle worker and not a magician. Are you ready to prosper? Diligence births success. (O.H)
