JESUS CAN MEET EVERY NEED (3) Luke 8:43-48
And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?'” (v45)
Jesus know that if He had left us with only this part of the story before He ascended on high, no one would have been satisfied that could be healed unless they could physically touch Him the way this woman did. So He changed the order of it and turned around and said, “Who touched Me! (Luke 8:45) And Peter said, “That’s a nice thing to say. Why, all the people are leaning against you; everybody’s leaning against you” “Yes,” He said, “but somebody touched Me.” (vv45-46)
Oh, there’s a difference! You may lean about all your lives, but one atom of faith will do it. Come out of yourselves. No longer have an imaginary faith – get a reality, believe, and God will do it! The woman turned around and said, “Yes, it was I; but I am so different now. The moment I touched You, I was made whole!” (Mark 5:29,33) Ah! Jesus answered her, “Your faith has made you well, go in peace” (v34) Notice, He did not say “Your touch has made you well” but “Your faith,” and beloved, it is faith that will bring results now in your life. Get or buy a Bible, the Word of God. It is faith. His Word is the authority of faith. It is the living principle of faith. “If you can believe” (Mark 9:23). Believe what the Word says. The people came and asked Jesus, “What shall we do that we may work the work of God?” (John 6:28) He said, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom (God) sent.” (v29) – (Smith Wigglesworth)
PRAYER LINE: Oh, the Word of God – the Living Word – the precious Word of God. As you take a step of faith to seek Jesus, that troubling situation in your life, loved one will receive divine solution in Jesus’ Name.
