“I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (V3 Devotional Bible)

P.T Barnum, who was no stranger to money or the pursuit of it once said, “Money is in some respects like fire, it is a very excellent servant but a terrible master… perhaps it is because we are so consumed by the acquisition and dispensing of material wealth that we do not see how much it rules our lives. Money means many different things to many people. For some people it is the ultimate measure of success, the ultimate source of joy, the ultimate resource for fulfillment in life. For others, however, many may merely be a means to an end, a necessary inconvenience, a God given resource for accomplishing His work, a source of frustration, a cause of worry, or a fixed factor in an organized life. First and foremost, the wisdom, or skill for living, given in the book of Proverbs is “better than rubies.” This automatically places the value of God’s wisdom, God’s priorities for living, God’s righteous standards and the understanding of His Word should be more precious to His people than any type of monetary gain. Read Prov 3:13-15 Prov 31. (Kenneth M. Durham)
