“… He said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be afraid. Only believe” (V36)

Jairus faced seven different types of opposition before the miracle for which he was believing became a reality. Seven different obstacles came to hinder him and kept him from his miracle. (see Day 75, 76, 89, 91, 96, 213 and 214) But his love for his daughter drove him on. He was determined to find help for her. It is important to realize that opposition will come before your miracle, too. Before you can overcome an obstacle you must recognize and identify that obstacle. Opposition is sent by the enemy to defeat and destroy. Sadly, many miss their miracle because they fail to recognize the real source of the opposition. If opposition is allowed to triumph, faith begins to vanish and eventually turns to fear. When fear prevails and is allowed to get in the way, the miracle passes right by. Jairus faced seven different obstacles. Some were very obvious; others were more subtle and difficult to recognize. But no form of opposition was too great for Jairus. He believed that this man called Jesus whom he had heard about could help his daughter and he was willing to do anything necessary. Faith does not deny fact, it changes it. Each time he overcame one of these hurdles, he was one step closer to his miracle. (Benny Hinn)
